How to Make Pecan Pie with Figs and Whiskey
You will need
- - figs - 450 g;
- - wheat flour - 3 glasses;
- - eggs - 3 pieces;
- - water - 2 glasses;
- - Pecans - 200 g;
- - vegetable oil - 1 cup;
- - whiskey - 100 ml;
- - baking powder - 2 tablespoons;
- - vanillin - 1 sachet;
- - ground cinnamon - 0.5 tsp;
- - ground nutmeg - 0.5 tsp;
- - soda - 1 tsp;
- - Salt - 1 teaspoon;
- - sugar - 2 glasses.
Put the dried figs in a saucepan and cover with 2 cups of water. Put on the fire and cook, covered with a lid, until it becomes soft, that is, for 35-40 minutes. Then place it in a blender or food processor. Add vanilla and whiskey to it. These ingredients mix and grind to a state of mashed potatoes.
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and send nuts for about 8-10 minutes. Thus, they will become a little drier. After this procedure, give them time to cool. Then grind to a state of flour.
Combine the following products in a free dish: baking powder for dough, flour, salt and soda, and also nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly.
Mix sunflower oil with sugar and chicken eggs. Beat the mixture thoroughly until its consistency looks like cream, that is, about 3 minutes.
Mix the resulting sugar-egg mass with fig puree. Beat with a mixer, while gradually adding a mixture of flour. Knead the dough, then add the ground nuts to it. Mix thoroughly and place on a greased baking dish.
Send the dough form to the oven for about 75 minutes. Cool the finished baking and remove from the mold. Pecan pie with figs and whiskey is ready!
