How to cook jellied chicken
You will need
- 1 kg of chicken meat
- 50 g gelatin
- 400 ml of water
- large onion
- some salt
- Piece of gauze
- Cookie cutters
Cook the gelatin. Fill it with water and leave for a couple of hours to swell. Some varieties of gelatin swell faster, so first read the instructions on the package.
Put the cut chicken in the pan. Peel the onions and carrots and put them whole in a saucepan. Pour the contents of the pan with water, salt and boil the broth.
Take the chicken out of the broth and separate the meat from the bones. Cut the meat into slices. Pickled cucumbers also cut into slices. Cut different figurines from boiled carrots.
Strain the broth through cheesecloth or a very fine sieve. Put the prepared gelatin in it and put it on the stove again. Heat the broth with gelatin over medium heat until gelatin is completely dissolved, but do not bring the mixture to a boil. You get jelly.
Lay out the piecesChickenin special molds. Pour in the same jelly with a thin layer. Put the decorations in jelly - cucumber circles, carrot stars and everything else. Put the molds in the fridge and wait until the jelly hardens.
Put the next layer of meat, carrots and cucumbers in the molds and pour it all over with another layer of jelly. Then the molds need to be put back in the fridge and wait for it to solidify. You may need a few more layers. Let the jelly harden before pouring a new layer. And so on until the form is complete. After this, it is necessary to give the jelly to finally froze in the refrigerator.
